IDENTI Medical recently signed a distribution agreement with the Canadian medical distributor Andau Medical, thus establishing its operations in the Canadian and Northern United States markets. Andau Medical sells and markets medical and dental devices with decades of experience working with surgical and intensive care departments.
The agreement comes after a successful year for IDENTI in the international arena. Earlier this year, IDENTI won a unique tender from the French procurement organization UniHa, which provides services to hundreds of hospitals and medical centers throughout France. In addition, a deal was signed with the global DHL Healthcare Division to supply automated tracking solutions for Medtronic hydrocephalus implants in Mexico. In another agreement with Johnson & Johnson, IDENTI helped streamline J&J logistics services of medical implants and kits for laparoscopic/bariatric surgery in Mexico, which is about to expand also for orthopedic surgeries in Brazil.
Andau Medical and its founders have an established track record of over 20 years in sales leadership with some of the largest and best-known global companies in the medical industry, including Nutrition, Baxter, Cardinal Health, Philips, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Andau Medical’s expertise in hospitals include Anesthesia, Respiratory, OR, ICU, ED, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, Biomedical Engineering and more. Dental specialties include Periodontics, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Implantology, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, General and Pediatric Dentistry. Vast knowledge in sales, regulation, and distribution in these areas, along with an entrepreneurial spirit and a belief in the value of innovation, enable Andau Medical to excel in integrating both existing and new technologies.
Shlomo Matityahu, CEO of IDENTI: “We at IDENTI choose to collaborate with distributors and marketers who have engraved on their banner the value of patient safety through process improvement and digitalization. Andau shares these same values with us and together we believe that the operational envelope of the hospital plays an important role in ensuring delivery of the best and safest care to patients. Joining them as partners in the journey is a significant milestone for us in North America. We are delighted and excited to get started.”
