Alon Negbi is a senior healthcare technology and systems engineering leader with more than 25 years of experience developing intelligent software platforms, IoT architectures, and automation solutions for mission-critical environments. As Vice President of Research and Development at IDENTI Medical, he is responsible for the technical vision, system architecture, and execution of the company’s AI-powered healthcare platforms.
Alon joined IDENTI Medical in 2017 and has played a central role in building the company’s core technology stack, combining RFID, computer vision, sensor-based data capture, and cloud-native software into a unified platform for hospital operations. His work focuses on enabling real-time visibility and automation at the point of use, where accuracy, reliability, and interoperability are essential.
Under Alon’s technical leadership, IDENTI’s solutions have been deployed across operating rooms, procedural areas, med-surg units, and ambulatory surgery centers. These systems support hospitals in addressing long-standing challenges such as inventory inaccuracies, missed charge capture, manual documentation, and fragmented data flows between clinical and financial systems.
Alon’s expertise lies in designing scalable, fault-tolerant architectures that function within highly regulated healthcare environments. He emphasizes integration with existing hospital systems, including ERP, EHR, and supply chain platforms, ensuring that automation enhances workflows rather than disrupting them. This approach has been critical to enabling adoption at scale across diverse healthcare settings.
In addition to his work at IDENTI Medical, Alon has served as Head of Research and Development at LogiTag Logistics since 2005, where he led the development of embedded RFID detection and tracking technologies for healthcare and industrial use cases. His experience at LogiTag provided deep exposure to hardware-software integration, real-time sensing, and edge-based data processing – capabilities that later became foundational to IDENTI’s platform.
Alon holds a BSc in Engineering and Information Systems. His background enables him to bridge advanced technology with practical operational requirements, ensuring that IDENTI’s solutions deliver measurable improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and system-wide visibility for healthcare organizations.
